I received a prescription with the following preparation: 11 Alpha Hydroxyprogesterone 6% in solution for a hair lotion. I do not find anything about the concentration of 6% and what about the solubility?

Lotions with 1% are found but not higher. Maybe take a phone call to the doctor? It remains of course external use; Everything will depend on the useful life? We can presume that resorption cannot be ruled out for prolonged use.
1% is soluble in ethanol of 60%. If possible a higher concentration is desired then I seem to use the solvents for lotions with minoxidil a good starting point.
