How to prepare suppositories with 150 mg Cameron in a suppository form of 2g instead of 3g as in the TMF?

Should I, given I have a suppoform of 2g, reduce the 150 mg to 150/3 x 2 = 100mg or not? Often we get prescriptions with x% Cameron so the amount of Cameron depends on the size of the suppository form (e.g. 5% in 2g = 100mg, in 3g 150 mg)

Answer

We have to do here with a suppository intended for external local use. The amount of medicines is less important here if in the case we aim for absorption into the bloodstream. This is, in a way, an answer to your remark following your question.
now regarding your question, I suspect that suppositories of 2g with 150 mg Cameron are likely to make. Of course you have less suppository mass with which the mixture of collargol-glycerin water can be co-mixed. This will have an impact on the solidify and firmness of the suppositories obtained.
but only practice this can show.
