In next composition for a mouthwash I see an oil drop superfloat after Biborate 5g AmylocaineHCl 2g Glycerin 10g MINT WATER AD 100ml

Discrete dissolving of solids after mixing gives cloudy and formation of supernatant oil droplet.

Answer

Borax's reaction with glycerin delivers boroglycerine, which reacts with acid. In an acidic solution there should be no amyloca ï ne base and therefore no oil droplet should be prevented. To form sufficient boroglycerine, the amount of glycerin should increase to 40%. The pH of the solution is about 6.0. Even though the amount of mint water decreases I would nevertheless use 3g mint spiritus to maintain sufficient flavor correction.
