A preparation of PEG 4000 70% with alcohol 70 ° 30% tends to harden quickly.

This preparation should be used for skin contact with phenol and should therefore remain more manageable. Anyone have a solution?

Answer

I would say add a 10 à 20% PEG 400 in addition to 60 or 50% PEG 4000 respectively.
