There is a woman who gets a paste prescribed for scabies: Prednisolone 0.5 g Crotamiton 10g Menthol 1g Zinc oxide 35g lassardough up to 100g

According to Farmamozaiek (*) The Scabicide product 8h should remain on the spot for a long time. Is this to be done with Lassardough? Is a lotion/CR è me not easier to tolerate and wash off with water + soap? Is a fat paste also the best vehicle for this condition?

Answer

I fear that Lassardough will be the ideal vehicle because of its relatively high consistency. I would replace it with the vehicle used in the TMF for the Crotamiton emulsion. In the prescribed amount of Lassardough sits 0.5 g salicylic acid and I would add to the preparation as also the Prednisolone and the menthol. The ZnO present in the Lassarpasta as well as the other powdered ingredients I would not add otherwise you will again obtain a consistent mass.
