Would it be difficult to copy Bancaud water? Does such preparation still make sense?

Answer

Composition:
R/chloral Hydrate 280 mg/5ml
phenol 302.5 mg/5ml
sodium salicylate 337 mg/5ml
DT 200 ml solution
Comment:
I do not think the preparation any problem Allows. This formula is slightly different from phenosalyl of the OJ IV. Naturally salicylic acid will be formed by the reaction of nasalicylate with the acid phenol. I hope this will remain in solution. This has to be tried for a few moments. Choloralhydrate is an old anesthetic that we may now have before by Lidocaine. HCL would replace. Taking into account the prescribed quantities I think this solution for use should be diluted with a certain amount of water.
