5% urea 20% White Vaseline Cetomacrogol Cream unbuffered without sorbic acid ad 100g

I do not succeed, the cream always breaks... Maybe too much petroleum jelly, but still, is there an elegant way to solve this?

Answer

If I just continue on the name "Vaseline Cetomacrogolcrème" then I find in a formulary following composition

Cetomacrogol 3 G; Cetostearyl alcohol 12 g; liquid paraffin wax 12 g, propylene glycol 10 g; White Vaseline 20 g; Water AD 100 g

This   cream contains 20 g of petroleum jelly, is unbuffered and does not contain sorbic acid. Propylene glycol is used as a preservative.

The doctor still asks 5% urea so the amount of water to add 5 g will need to be reduced.

Another solution, proposed by Apoth. C. Andries from Herentals,   for which thanks, exists in the use of the Cetomacrogol cream FNA without sorbic acid.

Cetomacrogol 1000 3g Lanette O 12g; Sorbitol powder 2, 8g; Cetiol 20g; Purified water ad 100g. This cream is much less consistent than Cetomacrogol cream TMF and will allow the addition of 20% Vaseline without problem.
