Capsules containing 1.2 grams of Glycerol Tri-erucate (GTE) oil.

Which is the most suitable filler to make these capsules?

Answer

The method to solve this problem   is   time consuming and slightly more cumbersome than the preparation of classic Gelules. It exists in the amount of oil to fill in the appropriate capsule size using syringe and needle. For this you need to know the density of this oil to convert weight to volume. If the density is not available, it is easy to determine by weighing 10 ml. After filling, the capsules should be hermetically closed. For this, one immerses the edge of the capsule in a solution of cellulose acetophytalate and then slides over the body of the capsule. One can also use a solution of 6   parts water and 4 parts alcohol which dampened the edge of the cap. Through the water the gelatin will dissolve a little and the cap will melt with the body.
