In the composition of a cream, the abbreviation CANI (TMF) is used as the name for the cremebase. What does CANI mean

Answer

CANI stands for Cremor Aquosus Non Ionicus. The composition is not in the TMF but in the FN V and reads: Cetomacrogol self-emulsifying was 15 g; Cetiol V 10 g; Propylene glycol 10 g; Sorbic acid 200 mg and water 64.8 G

This cream base is easy to prepare and is lighter in structure as the Cetomacrogol cream described in the TMF
