A dermatologist asks me to make following preparation: Lidocaine 2.5 g, tetracaine 2.5 g in a creme 100g.

Indication: Same as for Emla. In the study one uses the base form of both components, in Belgi ë only Tetraca ï ne HCl is available. Can I use both the salt form in this preparation, and which creme-basis do you recommend me?

Answer

However, I have to say that Lidoca ï NE base is available and perhaps also with Tetraca ï ne HCl gives a curable mixture. It would be logical to use the same or an analogue CR ` me base like this one from Emla.
