How is best aqua Conservans created?

In the manner described in the TMF or the national Formularium? In My course, magistal preparations were always referred to water for preservation from the TMF. Which formula is best? Why do they leave propylene glycol away in the preparation of the TMF?

Answer

Both methods can be used. That of the national formulary is perhaps the most useful, but it is a two-step process. Since the water used should be cooked voraafally, the TMF method is simpler. However, it is important to allow the boiled water to cool before adding the parabens. Personally I would bags up to 70 ° C. The use of propylene glycol is only necessary if a stock solution is prepared beforehand.
