How to make a homogenous mixture of vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin E (tocopherol acetate) in Gelulen?

What should you do in order not to get a demixing? We have already tried it with an emulsifier and with silica gel but this does not help.

Answer

This is a nice example where we use a grease as a filler for gelulen. You can use a suppository mass for this, the type depends on the amount of vitamins or vitamin oil solution. After dissolving, a clot reduction occurs. You could also use chocolate! Preferably, the whole is fixed at room temperature and melts between 30 and 37 degrees. In order to avoid any leaks of the gelules, we will put the cups in a cap solution so that they stick well on the body of the capsule. An analogue formula is mentioned in the booklet "Galenic Formularium"  . I don't think you succeed in preparing a homogeneous dry mixture. The gelules are volumetric filled with the melted mass; Use a syringe for this.
