A colleague consults me on breaking an emulsion when he tried to process salicylic acid in the fat phase.
My idea:
-Dissolve urea in water phase + prepare Lotio
-Erythromycin + Salicylic acid suspending in the Lotio
-LCD mixing in the Lotio
Is this a good rational to recommend the colleague or is there a better option?

I fear that the emulsion prepared according to your method will remain unstable. After all, the instability is most likely due to the incompatibility of salicylic acid with Cetomacrogol. Consequently, I would prefer a lotion based on Lanette or nacetylstearyl sulfate.
