Hydralazine. HCl 25mg in egg containing lactose as filler.

This preparation discolours yellow-like after a number of days. The Martindale talks about discoloration and degradation in injection solutions but says nothing about gelules. Like your advice.

Answer

I have a heavy suspicion that here we have a case of Maillard reaction. So replace the lactose with mannitol. To increase the stability, I would dry the mannitol beforehand at 110 ° C. Use a plastic jar to deliver, possibly with a dry stopper.
