Is it possible to make a loco for Propyl-Lacticare, which is no longer available on the Belgian market?

Answer

(elaborated by pharmacists S. Rosiers and G. Wynant) Propyl Lacticare

On the package leaflet we find the following information:

Lactic Acid 6.6 gr Propylene glycol 80.7 gr Glycerin 38 GR Oleic acid 7.5 gr Base QS AD 150 ml

As a base we used poyethyleenglycol there according to the patient it turned out to be a very easy water-washable substance. This solution was, according to the user, similar in texture to the original product, but was indeed not greasy enough. That's why we added almond oil/Tween. Based on the patient's findings, 5% showed the best formulation.

Lactic Acid 6.6 gr Propylene glycol 80.7 gr Glycerin 38 GR Oleic acid 7.5 gr Almond Oil 7.5 Tween 80 7.5 gr PEG 400 AD 150 ml
