ORL Specialist prescribes next (replacing Eoline UDH) Hydrocortisone 10mg Oxytetracycline 900mg nystatin 100,000 IU Fungi zone 50mg Beeler Base ad 30g

< br/> I suggest to use CETOMACROGOLCR è me instead of image as Excipient buffered at PH 5 for the stability of tetracycline.

Answer

That can but why Cetomacrogol instead of Beeler? In Beeler There is still propylene glycol (albeit as an allergizing appearance) that can serve as a solvent for the hydrocortisone. Of course the Cetomacrogol cream is already buffered, but also the image base can be buffered. The ideal pH for Tetracyclines is 5.8 to 6. See preparation of tetracycline suspension in the Galenic formularium.
