The chlorbutol we have dissolved in the oily phase. We added the Burowwater and the lactic acid to the aqueous phase. But when cool, she discerner. An increase of the Arlacel concentration gives only temporally a better result.

Answer

This is a very complicated cream, which resembles a brew as well as a thoughtful formula.

  1. a W/O is perhaps not impossible but is complicated by all those additions of additional ingredients. So We can try to stabilize the W/O and for this I would add 10% cetyl alcohol Besides possibly increasing the concentration of Arlacel.

  2. an O/W cream will be easier to realize. Because of the presence of so much salicylic acid I would use Beeler basis.

  3. It should also be checked whether a precipitate is formed when merging zinc sulfate and Burowwater.

  4. all insoluble powders can be mixed and rubbed with the cream.

  5. due to the presence of such a large amount of salicylic acid and lactic acid, a preservative is not necessary.
