First A mixture is made of the salts with small excess and 6 g is mixed with 104 G PEG 4000. This amount is dissolved in 1 L of water and this solution can be administered as a lavement.
normally the solution is administered either via a nasogastrale or a duodenal probe or drunk in portions of 250 ml.
