We have a prescription from a GP: Cameron Creme S/2 x per day DT/1 tube. Is there a standard formula? There is no strength nor a cream base. We once had a prescription for Cameron 5% in beelerbasis years ago.

Answer

We suggest

Collargol 15 g; water 7.5 g; glycerin 7.5 g wool grease 35 g and Vaseline 35 g (Formula from the Formular National Francais)

In analogy with the suppositories of the TMF, we first prepare the mixture Collargol-glycerin-water.

Weigh the active ingredient separately.

Sprinkle in a bowl 15.0 G Cameron on the mixture of 7.5 g glycerol and 7.5 g purified water. Homogenize and let the Collargol, under occasional blending, moisten for 24 hours .

gradually add wool grease and rub the collarwave mixture into the wool grease under good mixing. Once the collarwave mixture is fully absorbed into the wool grease, dilute this mass with 35 g Vaseline.
