The zinc peroxide is very difficult to process in the gel.
Answer
I suspect that Carbomeergel is incompatible with the few zinc ions that dissolve in the aqueous gel. Therefore, I suggest to use a hydroxyethylcellulose or Natrosolgel. A composition is reflected in the booklet Galenic formularium.
